WATER WELLS
Water wells are an important part of rural Manitoba and families rely on natural water sources for everyday use. Stonewall Drilling has the ability to drill a well up to 6" in diameter. We use polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or galvanized steel casing. The wells are grouted with a bentontie borded hole pellet or concrete to fill the annular space between the casing and bored hole to maintain a water tight seal to prevent surface water contamination. The depth of a water well varies depending on the location. Some areas may also require a screen depending on the ground formation.
Please note that we can not guarantee water quality, quantity or well depth

PUMP &
PRESSURE SYSTEMS
Stonewall Drilling installs a constant pressure system (SQE) and a standard pressure system (SQ). Both of these systems have a submersible pump and pressure system by Grundfos. (Please see the Grundfos link below for further details regarding these 2 systems). All fittings & connections we install for either of these systems are either brass or stainless steel. We do NOT use nylon, plastic, etc. Our water line is a CSA approved thick wall, 100 lb test with all below ground connections, double clamped with 100% stainless steel. Wiring is completed to code from in the well through to the control unit and ready for hook up to your electrical panel.
INSPECTIONS & MAINTENANCE
Stonewall Drilling has a down hole camera to inspect wells in cases where there may be water coming up dirty, or the well has stopped producing water. This is a cost effective way to determine your wells problem.
It is recommended that the pump and system be inspected every 3-5 years, or sooner should your water conditions change.
Please don't wait for your well to fail you when you least expect it. Call us for your system inspection today.
